Hi friends! Let me say this first. For those of you who read the story of kitten, I’m going to continue on with the story. Really I am😆! Honest! It’s just that these articles are laying heavy on my chest, and I want to release them. I want to talk about those of us who are constantly traveling in our own little time machines. Everyone thinks that time machines aren’t real. But did you know that you have been using one for years!? The time machine is inside your head. You have been using it for years to relive moments in your life and live out moments that haven’t happened yet. Time machines can be fun if used in the right way. If you allow the positive thoughts to dominate, it’s a wonderful tool to travel back to great memories and to see the future manifestations for your life. But, the problem is that we are using this great God given tool to torment ourselves. Everyday we live in the past or fear our imagined future. We are amongst our friends and loved ones in this present moment in the physical, but living in the past or future mentally. Literally! For example, I’ll give you an example of living in the past. Perhaps you experienced being cheated on by your ex-husband. And not only that, he also physically abused you. That was five years ago. The sadness and pain you felt as a result of those happenings gave you anxiety and depression. The emotional anguish was absolutely justifiable five years ago, but not so much now. You tell yourself that you have moved on and you have forgiven him, yet to this day, you still suffer anxiety and depression. Now because of that, you haven’t been able to enjoy present relationships. Every time you meet someone new, you don’t see this👇

This new man who wants to say Hi is warmly embracing you with a smile. He thinks you are the most beautiful woman in the world, but he has no idea that you’re viewing him as a monster. Perhaps you do decide to give him a chance, you won’t even allow him or yourself to fully love because you’re stuck living in the past. It’s okay to remember that time in your life because it’s a good lesson learned. You experienced how you shouldn’t be treated, so you can now choose those who are NOT that way. Why are you carrying emotions from 5 years ago!? Let those negative emotions go! Depression and anxiety serve no purpose today! Allow him to do this👇
Allow yourself the pleasure of love. Use that distant memory of abuse to keep those who aren’t worthy of you away and those who are close by. REMEMBER, BAD THINGS HAPPEN SOMETIME TO TEACH US A USEFUL LESSON, NOT TO KEEP US LIVING IN THE PAST!
Also, I will give you an example of living in the future. Cancer, sickness, and death surround us on television news everyday. Now, we have stepped inside the mental time machine of seeing ourselves sick or sick again. Now we are feeling depressed and anxious. But wait! Hold on! That hasen’t even happen. Why are you feeling emotions from something that hasn’t even happen!? Are you a fortune teller!?
If the answer is no, then stop feeling anxious about something you made up! You’re only hunting and tormenting yourself.
Step out of your self-made future! My point is, get out the past and future. Live in the present. Don’t tell me what happen five years ago that got you upset still. HOW DO YOU FEEL TODAY?!
See, did you look around you? That day is gone. Step into today. I bet TODAY, your day isn’t so bad! 😆
